How to Register to Vote in Wyoming

Wyoming residents can register to vote by mail or in person. The state does not offer online voter registration, but same-day voter registration is available at polling places on Election Day.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be a resident of Wyoming and the precinct in which you register.
  • Be at least 18 years old by Election Day.
  • Not be convicted of a felony, unless your voting rights have been restored.
  • Not have been adjudicated mentally incompetent by a court.

Registration Methods:

    • Register in person at your county clerk’s office or at your polling place on Election Day.

Registration Deadline:

  • You can register up until 14 days before Election Day for in-person or by mail registration.
  • Same-day registration is available at polling places on Election Day.

Same-Day Registration:

  • Wyoming allows same-day voter registration at your polling place. You must bring valid ID, such as a Wyoming driver’s license, or provide another form of acceptable identification.
