Tennessee residents can register to vote online, by mail, or in person. Same-day voter registration is not available, so make sure to register before the deadline.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be a resident of Tennessee.
- Be at least 18 years old by Election Day.
- Not have been convicted of a felony, unless your voting rights have been restored.
- Not have been judged by a court as mentally incompetent to vote.

- You will need a Tennessee driver’s license or state ID.
- By Mail:
- Complete the Tennessee Voter Registration Application.

- Register in person at your local county election commission, DMV, or other authorized locations.
