How to Register to Vote in Kentucky

Kentucky residents can register to vote online, by mail, or in person. However, Kentucky does not offer same-day voter registration, so be sure to register before the deadline.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be a resident of Kentucky.
  • Be at least 18 years old by Election Day.
  • Not be a convicted felon, unless civil rights have been restored.
  • Not have been judged mentally incompetent by a court.
