How to Register to Vote in Connecticut

Connecticut residents can register to vote online, by mail, or in person. The state also allows same-day registration on Election Day at designated locations.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be a resident of Connecticut.
  • Be at least 18 years old by Election Day.
  • Not be serving a sentence for a felony conviction (unless voting rights have been restored).
  • Not have been declared mentally incompetent by a court.
